Directions to Use
1. Paste Pak Cartridge Loading
a. Fully retract the piston into the dispenser before loading.
Note: Retract piston by holding the slide block and release lever and pulling back together.
b. Load the cartridge aligning the mark on the cartridge with the dispenser’s mark.
Turn cartridge fully to the right position to lock it in place. To remove, retract the piston fully and turn cartridge back to marks.
c. After loading, slide the release lever forward until it stops. Push lever front only, not the upper side.
2. Dispensing
a. Remove the cartridge cover. Depress the lever to dispense paste onto the mixing pad.
Note: Before first dispensing or after long intervals, bleed pastes to avoid air bubbles.
b. Finger grip allows adjustment of material volume dispensed.
c. While pressing the lever, level and cut off excess paste by positioning cartridge and dispenser upright on the mixing pad.
Note: If surplus paste remains on cartridge tip, remove with gauze. Residual material volume can be confirmed by slide block position underneath or inner plunger visibility. Handle dispenser with care to avoid damage.
3. Mixing
Spread dispensed pastes thinly on mixing pad with plastic spatula. Mix thoroughly with lapping strokes for 10 seconds.
Note: Pastes are similar in color – mix carefully. For 2-4 crowns, mix for 15 seconds. Working time is 3 minutes at 23°C. Higher temperatures shorten working time. Do not mix GC FujiCEM pastes with other materials.
